Andrew Kaplan is the bestselling author of two great thriller series:The Scorpion series and the Homeland novels, based on the hit TV series. We spoke with our interviewee about the CIA operations in Iran in one of the most dangerous missions that the US has carried out to date. Our guest spent more than 4 years in the Middle East and speaks Arabic and Hebrew.

Who is?

Andrew Kaplan is a former journalist and war correspondent, who covered events around the world.

He served in both the U.S. Army and in the Israeli Army during the Six Day War and worked in military intelligence. The CIA has tried on several occasions to recruit him.

He has consulted with groups that advise governments and as president of a technical communications company.
